Plot
So without releasing spoilers…Ericanskinsmonsters is an apocalyptic story-rich JRPG with pixel style classic art. It is a story about a girl on a quest to save the world from the evils of monster kind and the dark Necromancer who appears to be aiding them. I would classify it as dark humor/drama/action rpg…if that is a genre.
What is the GAMEPLAY like?
It is a turn-based style rpg with Erica as the main character. She starts out alone and must gather her party to aid her on her quest. The game focuses heavily on challenging combat in which you much gear your party members up, while following a quest-line, navigate mazes/traps, a defeat powerful monsters in detailed storyline. The gameplay can vary depending on if you are rushing and not reading or if you are taking your time being immersed in music/gameplay. It really depends on you as a player.
Why the name Ericanskinsmonsters?
It’s a long story, but in short my wife started PC gaming when she met me and made the character name for her “main character” on ESO as Ericanskinsmonsters out of nowhere. She has played that character for about 8 years now and I wanted to give an epic name like that, an Epic Backstory. This game was not supposed to turn out this big for my first game….but I kept going, because the story kept evolving as I was telling it in the game engine. I hope you enjoy the Epic Tale!
Music?
I love every track I added!
The game contains a large variety of musical tracks and sound effects which really gets you amped up to wreck some monsters, or simply to relax you in town while you rest and re-gear for your next epic challenge. This consists of a lot of my own personally crafted musical tracks with a lot of rpgmaker music as well as Karugamo’s. Some of the ones I made you can find in the juke boxes in the inn’s.

Violence/Language/Violent acts
It is a RPG Maker game and I don’t think I went wild with the content. I will certainly offend someone, but that is the nature of creation….plus the story-line is a rollercoaster of emotion. I used swear words in variety of ways for humor and to show character personalities. I used art from a variety of artist and some of the art may have scantily clad monsters such as a succubus, but there is not nudity.
